During the period Feb. 10, 2003 and October 6, 2004, over 400 issues of The Daily Screw / The Occasional Screw were published on this website.

A reader asked me "I know the website will not last forever, so why not preserve these stories in book form? How about something I can pick up and just leaf to an interesting story anywhere, anytime?"

I thought "Aha, a Corkscrew Bathroom Reader!" So I set out to expand some of the stories with additional information I had gathered since their original publication. I also wrote a whole bunch of new stories and ended with about 500 pages. To make it more comfortable to handle in the bathroom or to read in bed, I split it into two volumes and now offer Corkscrew Stories Volume 1 & 2.

In addition, I have finally put Cork Ejectors in print form. This book first appeared in a much shorter form in The Virtual Corkscrew Museum in 2001. The print version now has 200 pages of information on this fascinating alternative to the corkscrew.
