The Virtual Corkscrew Museum has its roots in a small corkscrew website begun on America On Line in 1994. By 1999, the museum had grown to a nine megabyte site and in May the museum moved to www.corkscrewmuseum.com. Since May 1999, the museum has had over 28,000,000 page hits.
