A Virtual Corkscrew Museum Review

Zack

Zack was founded in 1985 in Oststeinbek, Germany, by Bernd Mackenroth. The company specializes in stainless steel housewares, bar ware, and bathroom items. The corkscrews and a few other tools are exceptions to stainless and are made of zinc alloy with matte nickel finish. The Zack line, designed by Heico Link, offers the "minas" bottle opener and two corkscrews: the "tiro" three post triangulated frame and the "uccello" double lever. The "tiro" was designed in April, 1997 and by the year 2000, over 250,000 pieces had been sold. This cyber-age company offers its distributors a complete catalog on a superb CD headlined "Zack, follow your style."
