German Corkscrew Registration 1,658,325

German Design Registration 1,658,325 was issued to Heinrich Buse and Eugen Kentrop on December 12, 1953. Their design shows a man laying back on his elbows on a hammer head with a corkscrew protected by the handle and a cap lifter at the bottom of the handle.

The hammer corkscrew pictured here is similar in design except the man atop the hammer head is sitting facing the side with one leg extending over the side and the other stretched atop the hammer. This example does not have a cap lifter.
