Two-sided counter display holds twelve Universals for 25 cents each from Universal Metal Specialty Co., 13 Park Row, New York City.
In 1906 Harry Noyes patented this lever corkscrew where the handle was pushed down rather than pulled up to extract the cork. His "UNIVERSAL" is found most often with advertising for Green River Whiskey. Less common are a plain version and one with advertising for Olympia Brewing Company of Washington.
