This opener appears in a 1937 Vaughan Novelty Manufacturing catalog as "Locktite (Trade Mark) Bottle Stopper and Opener Combination." It is described as "Removes the crown caps. The rubber gasket seals bottle air tight, preserving the unused portion for future use. Will last for years. Large space for advertisement."
