ICCAuctions©

Part 2a closes Sunday, November 9, 2008

There are 480* corkscrew lots listed on the ICCAuctions© website. The high quality of this excellent group of corkscrews is comparable, or better than that listed at Christies South Kensington when it was holding corkscrews auctions. In an effort to provide superior pieces the auction is limited to corkscrew lots valued at $100 or more.

Register to bid at:

http://www.auction.icca-corkscrew.com/

*240 close on November 9 and 240 close on November 16 beginning at 1PM Eastern U. S. time.

Here are some things that are done differently to make this a better auction than other online auctions:

1. If your bid does not meet the auction reserve, it will be displayed in full rather than as a small increment over the previous bid.

2. If you bid in the 5 minutes before an item is due to close, the closing time will be extended 5 minutes after the time of your bid. This eliminates sniping and gives everyone a fair chance.

3. Each lot is scheduled to close at one minute intervals, subject to an extension if there is a bid during the last 5 minutes. This means that 240 lots will take four hours to close.
