For Mike

Wirtz, Virginia - Last week our friend Mike got a new Harley for his birthday. Yesterday afternoon he was out riding the bike and a squirrel ran across the road in front of him.

Mike swerved to miss the squirrel, hit some gravel and went flying off the side of the road. Ambulances arrived. Traffic stood still. The bruised and battered Mike refused to go for an ambulance ride. His wife showed up and persuaded him to go off to the hospital for xrays and tests. We anxiously waited all afternoon and evening for news. Finally, the results were in. Good news. The doctor says he just needs some rest and "stay off the bike."

The bike was a bit bruised but it can be repaired. Like Mike.

The squirrel got to the other side of the road where he left his nuts in a tree.

Heal fast Mike!
