ICCA Meeting
Roanoke Valley, Virginia - Members of the International Correspondence of Corkscrew Addicts are gathering this week for their annual meeting. Seventeen limited edition (40 each) postcards will be distributed to attendees throughout the week. The Daily Screw will feature cards from each day.
Relaxing Before the Big Event
Wirtz, Virginia - The Daily Screw staff, Aussie Nick Hunt (left) and Californian Mike Sharp (right with go-with Karen) took a day off from corkscrews on Sunday for a little recreation on Smith Mountain Lake.
PCC News
Somewhere between Florida and Virginia - Alf Erickson writes:
The 3rd Annual General Meeting of the Patpong Corkscrew Club will be held in Wirtz/Roanoke, Virginia, between October 7th and the 12th. This will be the first time that the PCC AGM has been held outside of Bangkok's Patpong Entertainment Area.
So far, members Erickson, Bull, Hunt, Gift, Amma and Ohmy have guaranteed their attendance. Members Bull and Hunt are already in Virginia. Members Erickson, Gift, Ohmy and Amma will arrive in Roanoke some time on the 7th.
Charter member Ning is believed to be at sea somewhere in the Caribbean, so there is a chance that she might make port in time for the meeting. But, all members are encouraged to attend this most important meeting. But nothing bad will happen to you if you don't.
Sincerely, Alf Erickson (Cardholder #1)

Size Question
Does the size of the worm matter if it gets the job done?
Jessica Hope Fowler, North Carolina
Editor's Response
I've always heard that size doesn't matter.
