Chiropody Gimlets?
Wirtz, Virginia - We don't see a bottle to be opened with a corkscrew on this postcard entitled Chiropody at Trentham. Could there be a use for gimlets in this field?
In Bruce Bairnsfather's "Chiropody Office, S. S. Adriatic", there is another foot doctor with an implement resembling a corkscrew. Again, a gimlet? Or did the doctor open some spirits for the patient to ease the pain of his work?
