The corkscrew weighs over six pounds and is 15" tall and 6" wide. It has a wingspan of 19.5 inches.

The "standard" version of this corkscrew is 7.5" tall x 3" wide with a winspan of 9.75 inches.

Black History Month

Wirtz, Virginia - We continue our celebration of Black History Month with an advertising ink blotter for Green River Whiskey. The black man on the advertisement is saying "She was bred in Old Kentucky."

Corkscrew collectors will recognize the name Green River from the freqently found Universal Corkscrew stamped with advertising for the product. This folding lever corkscrew was patented by Harry Noyes of New Haven, Connecticut on July 3, 1906.

What's this?

The Answer will be seen in tomorrow's Daily Screw.
