Wirtz, Virginia - Our corkscrew shoppers
have returned to the Bar Mart catalog library and this time are Christmas
shopping in a 1955 catalog.
When we looked at this catalog offering, we
did a double take - the neckstand was at the cap lifter end. We dug through our
box of waiters' friends and quickly came up with the batch on the right. All
had the neckstand on the end opposite the cap lifter. Digging a little deeper
into the hundreds of waiters' friends, we came up with one example with the
neckstand as in the catalog (below). Uncommon?
