1934 Adolf Menz German Registered Corkscrew. A
Nickel-plated open frame corkscrew with ball bearing assist. German Registered
Design (D.R.G.M.) Number 1,308,467 of May 28, 1934 Firma Adolf Menz Wve.
There is a locking device on the shaft. It
keeps the frame from pushing up when the cork is self-extracted. It can then be
depressed to push the frame up the shaft for easy removal of the cork from the
worm. Very nice condition.
D.R.G.M. is abbreviation for Deutches
Reichs Gebrauchsmuster which is German Empire Registered Design.
