A King's Screw (rack & pinion) with super coloring. The bone handle is very good condition with a couple of small age cracks. The brush is missing. Steel handle turns pinion. See close-up of patent plate below. Great classic corkscrew.

Bone Handle Thomason Corkscrew w/plate. Edward Thomason's British Patent No. 2,617 of May 7, 1802. Nice example with coat of arms plate with motto "Ne Plus Ultra". The barrel is fine, the handle is excellent, and wire worm is full and sharp. Nice coloring. Excellent mechanical condition.
