Granite
The cabinets are being built and it is time to pick out the granite for the countertops. This called for a day trip to OHM in Greensboro, North Carolina.
So many slabs to choose from. They are 10' x 6' and weigh a heckuva lot.
Here you'll find slabs from quarries in Brazil, China, South Dakota, etc.
"This one looks like it could be my first choice. Can you take it outside in the natural light for a better look?"
"What do you think, Don? Here's a sample of the cabinet. Will it work?"
"What do I know? Men are color blind. Sure it will work."
Butterfly Green from Brazil is the first and final choice. It will be delivered to the fabricator next week.
